Our Mission

Every child deserves to hear "you can do it"

Larry the Lion exists for one simple reason: to help children believe in themselves. We build tools, stories and experiences that grow courage, kindness and self-belief — one brave step at a time.

The story

How Larry came to be

Larry began as a bedtime story — a little lion who was sometimes brave, sometimes scared, and always kind. The children who heard it started asking for Larry every night. They started saying "You Can Do It, Says Larry!™" when they felt wobbly.

We realised Larry wasn't just a character. He was a voice children needed to hear — a gentle, encouraging friend who believed in them no matter what. So we built a whole world around him: stories, challenges, badges and a club where every child belongs.

Today, Larry reaches over 40,000 families and 120+ schools across the UK. Every day, children earn their first "I was brave!" badge. Every night, someone falls asleep to a Larry story. And every morning, a few more children believe they can do hard things.

What we stand for

Our values

Four principles that guide every story, every challenge and every badge.

Children First

Every decision starts with one question: is this good for children? If not, we don't do it.

Safe by Design

No ads, no chat, no data sold. Children's privacy and wellbeing are non-negotiable.

Joy Matters

Learning should feel like play. We make things that make children (and grown-ups) smile.

Made with Teachers

Real teachers, real parents and real children shape everything we build. Always.

Our Ambassadors

Voices that inspire change

Extraordinary individuals who champion every child's right to be understood, included and empowered.
