Module 13 · The Core Framework

The Larry ConfidenceMethod™

Building confidence for life. The world-leading framework that powers every Larry product — from activities and books to schools, apps and beyond.

Purpose

One Framework. Every Product.

The Larry Confidence Method™ is the foundation beneath every single thing we create. If a product doesn't build confidence, it doesn't carry the Larry name.

The Larry Confidence Wheel™

Six Areas. One Confident Child.

Children develop confidence through six interconnected areas. Each area supports the others — together they form a complete picture of a confident child.

Believe

Helping children believe in themselves.

Learning that every child has unique strengths.

“I can do this.”

Try

Encouraging children to explore new experiences in their own way.

Trying is celebrated. Perfection is never expected.

“I gave it a go.”

Learn

Every success and every mistake teaches something valuable.

Mistakes become opportunities.

“I learned something new.”

Grow

Children recognise their own progress.

Confidence develops one small step at a time.

“I'm making progress.”

Share

Helping others. Working together. Celebrating each other.

Confidence grows when shared.

“Let's do this together.”

Shine

Children recognise what makes them unique.

They celebrate their achievements without comparing themselves to others.

“This is me.”

Progress, Not Perfection

Every Child's Progress Looks Different

Larry doesn't expect every child to do things in the same way. What matters isn't becoming more like everybody else — it's helping each child understand their strengths, build confidence and make progress in a way that works for them.

Big Steps

Some children take big, confident strides forward — and every one is worth celebrating.

Little Steps

Some children take small, careful steps — and every single one is just as meaningful.

Their Own Way

Some children find a completely different path — and that path is exactly right for them.

Every Kind of Progress Counts

Larry recognises progress in all its forms — not just academic achievement. Every one of these is a brave step worth celebrating.

The Larry Promise

Larry Will Always...

This is more than a slogan. It's a commitment that shapes every word, every activity and every interaction Larry has with a child.

Larry will always...

  • Encourage.
  • Celebrate.
  • Support.
  • Believe.
  • Listen.

Larry will never...

  • Compare.
  • Criticise.
  • Shame.
  • Label.
  • Fix.
The Child's Voice

Children Are Participants, Not Subjects

Where developmentally appropriate, Larry invites children to be active participants in their own progress — not simply the subjects of an adult intervention. Their voice matters.

What do you think?

How does this feel for you?

What helps you?

What makes this harder?

Would you like to try another way?

What are you proud of?

What would you like help with?

"Every child is different. Every child's progress is different.Larry helps children discover their strengths, find what works and take their next step — in their own way and at their own pace."

Change the Environment, Too

The Child Doesn't Always Need to Change

The Confidence Method doesn't place all responsibility for change on the child. Sometimes the environment, expectation, communication or support needs to change instead. We improve the support. We help the child progress.

What can we change?

Is there another way to do this?

Does the child need more time?

Would a different communication method help?

Could sensory needs be affecting this?

What does the child think would help?

Sometimes the child doesn't need to change at all.The environment, expectation, communication or support may need to change instead.
