Helping Hands
A kindness adventure where children discover the joy of helping others. Through simple, age-appropriate acts of helpfulness, they learn that their hands — no matter how small — can make a big difference in the world.
Larry Says
"Your helping hands made the world kinder today! You showed that even small hands can do big, kind things. Bramble is cheering for you!"
Adventure Steps
1. Trace your child's hands on paper and cut them out. These are your 'helping hands'.
2. Brainstorm together: 'Whose hands could we help today? What could we do?'
3. Choose three helping ideas — e.g. set the table, tidy toys, make a card for a neighbour, help a sibling.
4. Write or draw each idea on a hand cut-out.
5. Do each act of helping, then place the hand on a 'helping wall'.
6. Reflect together: 'How did it feel to help? How do you think the other person felt?'
