1Granular choices, not blanket agreement

We do not use one blanket checkbox to cover every type of processing or sharing. We provide separate, understandable choices for different activities.

3Lawful basis

The actual lawful basis for each processing activity must be established before deployment. We do not assume everything relies upon consent.

4Specific and understandable

Consent and acknowledgement mechanisms must be specific to the actual processing activity and must not be presented misleadingly.

5Withdrawal

Consent can be withdrawn. Withdrawal should be straightforward and clearly explained.
