Try Again Tree
A resilience-building adventure where children create their own 'try again tree' — a beautiful reminder that every time we try again, we grow stronger, just like a tree growing new branches.
Larry Says
"You tried again, and that's what brave people do! Every try is like a new leaf on your tree. You're growing stronger every day. I believe in you!"
Adventure Steps
1. Draw or paint a big tree with bare branches on paper.
2. Talk with your child about something that was tricky or didn't work the first time. Maybe a puzzle, a drawing, or tying shoelaces.
3. For each 'try again' moment, cut out a leaf and write or draw what they tried.
4. Stick the leaves on the tree branches. Watch the tree fill up with brave tries!
5. Say together: 'Every try makes me stronger — like a tree growing new leaves.'
6. Add a new leaf every time your child tries again at something tricky.
